On August 20, 2025, at 17:00, the atmosphere in Meeting Room 208 at headquarters was lively yet solemn as a training session themed "Production Management and Production Planning" officially commenced on time.
This meeting was led by Hetian's external instructor Teacher Fan, aiming to improve the company's various departments' understanding and execution capabilities of production management and production planning, injecting new vitality into the company's development. Meeting inviter Fan Youxianmeticulouslyprepared, ensuring the smooth progress of the meeting.
This meeting attracted elite representatives from multiple departments of the company. The After-sales Business Division sent 16 key members including Yang Laiwang, Xia Xuesong, Yang Fei, and Yang Jianhui, who actively participated in discussions with problems and experiences encountered in actual work. The OE Business Division had 5 members including Qi Zheng and Ma Zhiqiang, bringing unique perspectives from that division. Wode Factory also had 13 employees including Guo Yongjun and Wang Liqiao joining, demonstrating the factory's emphasis on production management. Yu Huihai from the Industrial Engineering Department served as a professional representative, providing technical support for the meeting. Additionally, there were 16 planning personnel including Pan Lihua and Sun Juan, who were key forces in production planning formulation and execution. Such a broad participant composition laid a solid foundation for the meeting's exchange and discussion.
Teacher Fan brought a wonderful training session with his rich industry experience and deep professional knowledge.
Starting from the four major functions of production management — planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling, he elaborated on the importance of production planning management. Through vivid cases and intuitive charts, Teacher Fan explained in an accessible way how to formulate scientific and reasonable production plans and how to use tools such as Gantt charts for effective production progress control.
During the explanation of production planning formulation, Teacher Fan emphasized the importance of basic data collection.
He pointed out that basic data such as personnel capabilities, equipment capabilities, and procurement supply capabilities are the prerequisites and basis for planning. At the same time, he shared experience on how to deal with plan changes and exceptions, proposing practical strategies such as cleverly arranging production plans, small-batch multi-variety production, and orderly capacity increase.
The meeting included interactive sessions where participants actively asked questions and had in-depth exchanges with Teacher Fan. Xia Xuesong from the After-sales Business Division raised questions about how to apply visual management in actual work to improve production efficiency. Teacher Fan provided specific suggestions based on cases;Qi Zheng from the OE Business Division focused on the connection between production planning and sales orders, and Teacher Fan provided detailed answers from the perspective of planning management.
Guo Yongjun from Wode Factory shared the bottleneck problems encountered in the factory's production process and asked how to optimize resource allocation through production planning management.
Teacher Fan pointed out that the key lies in conducting capacity load balancing, calculating weekly difference values, and maintaining differences within a reasonable range to ensure smooth production.
After60 minutes of intensive training, the meeting achieved remarkable results. Participants expressed that through this training, they gained a deeper understanding of production management and production planning, and mastered many practical management tools and methods.
At the same time, they also recognized their own shortcomings in work andclarifiedfuture improvement directions.
At the end of the meeting, inviter Fan Youxian summarized the meeting. He thanked Teacher Fan for his wonderful teaching and the active participation of the attendees, and emphasized that production management and production planning are the core elements of the company's development.
